Exhibit: “Expanded Geographies”

Brenau University, Simmons Viusal Arts Center, Sellars Gallery This  exhibition features work by artist Ying Li. Li captures experiences with place and time in her gestural paintings, and the current exhibit features landscapes from Colorado, New York, Switzerland, and the trees and oceans in between. Brenau University, Simmons Visual Arts Center, Presidents Gallery This exhibit is a survey of 30 years of work by Altanta-based artist and educator Kevin Cole. Cole’s work addresses social and political issues as they relate to the past and how we deal with issues of race through the use of sight, sound, and color.
