Bring the family and kick-start your Independence Day celebrations with the NORTHWINDS SYMPHONIC BAND performing outdoors at The Arts Council Smithgall Arts Center’s Gladys Wyant Performing Arts Pavilion for an annual Patriotic Pops Concert.

The Northwinds Symphonic Band is a hometown favorite. Led by conductor Allen Beach, and featuring two of your favorite vocalists…Michelle Martin and Jonathan (JJ) Jackson, the band also includes other band directors, both active and retired, music teachers, college students, professional musicians and several players who pursue an occupation outside the field of music.

Experience patriotic selections that honor our country and the people dedicated to preserving our freedom. You will be inspired by the fascinating interplay of wind, string, and percussion instruments in a bevy of patriotic songs and music steeped in the spirit and style of America – a masterful tribute to our Armed Forces.

Bring your own picnic, chairs and beverages of choice. For an upfront view, reserve a table for 8.
