Learn how to paint our beautiful North Georgia Mountains in radiant fall color. In Joan’s classes you will simply follow her follow-the-leader method of teaching. There is a wealth of techniques, tips and tricks in this painting. You will work on an acrylic primed canvas. Techniques you can expect to learn: Sky, clouds, mountains, atmosphere, foliage, trees, grasses, barns, fencing, road etc. You will have access to a simple line drawing to trace on your canvas if you have limited drawing skills.

By popular demand, Joan is once again offering another knife painting of a beautiful street scene in Italy. If you can frost a cake you can do this painting! Join this class and learn how to create this scene with a palette knife. As always, Joan presents her classes in her follow-the-leader method of instruction. It is the best way to learn as she demonstrates every step while you watch, learn and then imitate with her supervised instruction. More advanced artists are encouraged to embellish their painting anyway they wish.

This teaching method is the best way for anyone of any ability level to master her many techniques, tips and tricks. Even first time artists can expect to create a beautiful painting. More advanced artists are encouraged to embellish their painting anyway they wish.
